Dear Students, Families, and Community Members, It is an honor and privilege to serve as the principal of our vibrant middle school here in the heart of Brownsville, Brooklyn. As an educator with proud Jamaican roots, I carry with me a deep commitment to community, resilience, and excellence, values that shape everything we do at Mott Hall IV Middle School. Our school is a place where every student is seen, supported, and inspired to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Together, with our dedicated staff and families, we are creating a nurturing environment that celebrates culture, encourages curiosity, and builds confidence in every learner. This year, our theme: Reflect, Refine, and Rise reminds us that growth begins with reflection, improvement comes through refinement, and true success emerges when we rise together. Each challenge becomes an opportunity to learn, lead, and lift one another higher. At Mott Hall IV, we continue to "Ignite Excellence" in all that we do through rigorous instruction, strong relationships, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every student. I look forward to a year filled with collaboration, achievement, and joy as we reflect, refine, and rise together.

In partnership,

Dr. Forrester
